性  狀：本品為銀白色鱗片狀微粒，四方結(jié)晶，具有珍珠光澤。相對(duì)密度7.72g／cm3。熔點(diǎn)218℃。沸點(diǎn)416℃。在空氣中加熱時(shí)，分解為不定組成的氯化物，部分以BiCl3揮發(fā)。微溶于水，溶液呈堿性。

用  途：主要用于塑料工業(yè)作添加劑添加劑；另外用于制造無鉛顏料和化妝品；高純度的用于制造人造珍珠和干電池陰極。
